The Fullbright Foreign Student Program

The Fulbright Foreign Student Program offers scholarships for Pakistani students to study in the United States. Funded by the U.S. Department of State and administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE), these scholarships are available for master’s, PhD, or research courses in any subject. The grants support both graduate education and professional development, covering the entire curriculum.

Eligibility Requirments:

  • Be living in the nominated country at the time of application.
  • Possess an educational certificate equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record.
  • Be fluent in English with the following minimum scores:
    • 550 on the paper-based TOEFL
    • 79-80 on the Internet-based TOEFL (IBT)
    • 6.5 on the IELTS
  • Quote school code 2326 and submit your exam scores to IIE on the exam day.
  • Dual citizens cannot participate in the program.

Note: Students cannot apply to basic medical programs such as dentistry, medicine, pharmacy, and nursing. However, areas like public health and nursing are allowed.
