The Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) has partnered with +W, a top HR company in Japan, to offer a special IT and Japanese Language Internship Program. Specifically, this program is for 3rd and 4th-year students studying fields like Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Software Engineering. Through this program, students will learn advanced IT skills and Japanese language basics. Altogether, this combination opens doors to possible jobs with top companies in Japan.
Applicant Criteria
- Only students enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program are eligible.
- Applicants must be studying in fields such as BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or Software Engineering.
- The program is open to students in their 3rd and 4th years (specifically those in the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th semesters).
- The selection process aims for a balanced application ratio, with 50% of spots reserved for male candidates and 50% for female candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
- CGPA 3.5+: Outstanding students with no prior experience.
- CGPA 3.0+: Candidates with at least six months of internship or freelance experience in software development.
- CGPA 2.5+: Applicants who have one year of software development experience.
- CGPA 2.0+: Individuals with over 1.5 years of software development experience.
- Preference will be given to 4th-year students who have at least one year of experience in software development.
Additional Requirements:
- Strong communication skills in English.
- A genuine interest in Japan, its culture, anime, etc.
- A desire to learn the Japanese language; having some basic knowledge of Japanese is advantageous.
- Willingness to work in Japan in the future.

Program Duration
- 3rd Year Students (5th & 6th Semester): 1.5 years (18 months).
- 4th Year Students (7th & 8th Semester): 6 months.
- Japanese language classes will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM (Pakistan Time).
- Classes will be conducted online and will commence in December.
